We have tried to make our cancellation policy as flexible as possible. In some cases commitments have been made to suppliers, vendors, FBO's and others. In almost all cases refunds incur processing fee's from credit card companies in order to issue refunds.

If an event is cancelled the T-34 Association will issue a full refund to all attendees. Unless otherwise requested or at the direction of the attendee the T-34 Association will issue the refund as a future credit on the members account.

If a member cancels 8 days or more before the start of the event a refund will be issued a 100% refund as an account credit or 90% of the charged amount if the refund is returned to a credit card or via check.

Cancellations inside of 8 days of the event may not be subject to a refund and are at the sole discretion of the T-34 Association.

T-34 MTW Pre-Osh Formation Practice
It's that time of year and once again as we plan to “invade” Manitowoc, WI (KMTW) July 17th - July 20th for our pre-OSH formation practice. Join us Friday, July 17 through Tuesday, July 20, 2020 for MTW Formation Practice followed by KOSH Airventure Tuesday, July 20 – July 26, 2020.

If you plan to attend please complete the registration process by selecting "Register Now" shown on the right of your screen AND by filling and submitting the Registration Form linked below.

We will begin with knocking the rust off by flying 2, 3 & 4-Ship sorties on Saturday morning/afternoon and Sunday morning. Then we focus on the Mass Formation practice starting on Sunday in preparation for the KOSH Airventure Arrival and Warbird Shows. There will be some sorties dedicated to folks who are new or rusty at formation flying, but MTW is NOT the place to begin your formation training. If you have some exposure and just need the final push to get ready for that Wingman or Lead Patch, let me know directly and I’ll build you a training plan. I’m not trying to discourage anyone from attending, but need to make it clear what the objective is for the weekend.

Our KOSH Airventure flying this year will include the Arrival Show on Monday and the Warbird Show on Tuesday.  Due to the 75th Anniversary celebration of the end of WWII, non-WWII type airplanes will only fly during the Monday Arrival and Tuesday Warbird Shows. These are the days we typically have the highest participation of T-34s so I am hopeful we can really crank up the numbers this year.  I am including extra blocks on the registration form for you to indicate if you’re willing to fly on Wednesday, Friday, and/or Saturday just in case there are cancellations and we have an opportunity to fill the sky.

The EAA/MTW folks will be supporting us again this year with a place to brief as well as feeding/watering us.  Beginning this year, we have the capability for you to pay the “Landing Fee” on this website. I would appreciate that you use this system as it will really help us to nail down the amount of food/drink the EAA needs to serve and help keep our costs low.  This fee also covers the cost of our rental van and much important smoke oil.  Paying online is the least expensive way to pay.  The costs will go up after July 1st and be more expensive on-site. You should register now but I will establish the “Landing Fee” by June 1st so please check back then.

Hotel:

We have contracted a block of rooms for us, listed under the “T-34 Association”.
The rate for this year is $129/night and the cutoff for the room block rate is June 17, 2020.
Please call the Baymont Inn & Suites at (920) 682-7000

Registration Form:

I would like to know if you are planning to attend the OSH Airventure event, even if you don’t plan to fly in the show or attend MTW. I’m hoping for BIG numbers of T-34s this year and would like to ensure we have enough parking spaces for everyone. We want to have all the T-34s parked together but if you don’t tell me you’re coming you may not get to park on the T-34 row. Please print the Registration Form (PDF / DOC) sign, scan, (or take a picture with your phone if necessary), and email the form to me at T34MTW2020@yahoo.com.

Hold Harmless Agreement:

I will also need a signed T-34 Association “Hold Harmless Agreement” from each person returned to me. It will be a requirement to fly at both MTW and OSH this year.
Please print, sign, scan and email the form to me at
T34MTW2020@yahoo.com.

Additional Document and Reference Material:

Here are several additional reference documents to assist in getting ready for this Formation Flying event.

All documents listed on this page can also be found in the Document Library under T-34 Association / MTW.

We plan to hold our annual T-34 Association Membership Meeting in the Oshkosh Hilton Garden Inn on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 1300CDT.
Please attend if you can, your participation counts.

That covers all the goings-on at MTW and OSH this year.
I hope to see ya at MTW/OSH!  - Smitty

NOTE:  We are COVID aware.  Lot's can change between now and July 17th.  We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates via the T-34 Forum and this event page.  If you are thinking of coming please register.  It will help us gauge interest in the event which will help us to develop a game plan as things move forward.
