There are no sanctioned, sponsored, or directed flying events by the T-34 Association for Non-members of the T-34 Association. All attendees and guests are required to register.

The Great Lakes Warbird Fly-in and MAPS Museum Tour. 
Come join us for a weekend of Flying, Food, Fun and a tour of the MAPS (Military Aviation Preservation Society) Warbird Museum located at the Canton-Akron Airport (CAK). 
All Warbirds and Trainers are welcome.  Register early!!

Thursday 8/13:
Arrive early if you would like.  Come see the sights and sounds of CAK or take an early tour of the MAPS museum.
Aircraft Parking will be on the MAPS ramp.  Shuttles will be available to/from the Hotels listed below.  
Participate in a sunset T-34 formation flight.  
Lunch and Dinner on your own.  Lots of options in the area.  

Friday 8/14: 
Arrival throughout the day.  Aircraft Parking will be on the MAPS ramp. 
Shuttles will be available to/from the Hotels listed below. 
10:00 First Flight Briefing
17:00 - Welcome Reception and ribbon cutting at the new Castle Aviation Hanger and Office Complex, we will have drinks and light appetizers available until 8pm

Saturday 8/15:
08:30 First Flight briefings and Museum Tours start at the MAPS Museum
 12:30  Lunch on site at the MAPS Museum.  Hosted by Castle Aviation
 18:00 BBQ Dinner and day's debrief at the MAPS Museum.  Hosted by Castle Aviation 

Sunday 8/16:
09:00 First Flight briefings and Museum Tours start at the MAPS Museum
15:30  Event Ends
Parking available at the Castle Aviation ramp if you want to stay the night
 
Fee:
We are asking for a $10 donation per person which will be given to the MAPS Warbird Museum
Mike Grossmann, President of Castle Aviation is covering  other event costs including food and drinks on Friday & Saturday. 
Due to on-site staffing and security requirements we are asking you to register early. 
Late payment after August 1st is $50 per person. 
Payment after August 8th is $100 per person.

COVID NOTE:  We are COVID aware.  We are constructing the meetings, briefings, meals and ground transportation, etc. to work within the new realities of the COVID environment. 
According to Ohio's current stay at home schedule and health department guidelines we will be well within the timing and constraints of a gathering like this.  Your awareness of COVID and basic common sense will help.  Maintain proper separation (on the ground and in the air), wash your hands, don't attend if you are feeling sick, etc...  We will not hold the event if it's not prudent but otherwise please mark it in your calendar and plan to join us.   We will continue to monitor and update as appropriate.
